Our Coaches 

Coach Eaton 

The Phoenix Youth Track Club was established by Head Coach Jarret Eaton, an accomplished professional athlete and Head Coach of the Xavier College Prep Track and Field Team. A Syracuse University graduate hailing from the Philadelphia area, Coach Eaton has a remarkable 10-year career in professional athletics, specializing in short hurdles while representing Team USA. His impressive achievements include two bronze and one silver medal in the 2018, 2019, and 2022 World Indoor Championships and Pan American Games. In addition to his professional career, Coach Eaton brings 7 years of high school coaching experience and a wealth of knowledge from youth camp involvement to our program.

Coach Brittney 

Brittney Howell, originally from Philadelphia and a proud Penn State alumna, made her mark specializing in the heptathlon during her time at the university. She achieved remarkable success as a 2-time All-American and Big Ten Champion in the heptathlon before moving on to compete at the NACAC Championships. Now proudly representing Jamaica, Brittney has shifted her focus to the long jump, boasting impressive personal bests of 6.55 meters and 6.63 meters (w).

Coach Max 

Max, hailing from Philadelphia, is a distinguished 110m hurdler who pursued his education at Cornell University, majoring in animal science. During his collegiate career, he achieved remarkable feats, becoming a 9-time Ivy League champion, setting school and Ivy League records, and earning the honor of being a 2-time NCAA Division I All American. Following his graduation, Max continued to excel in the sport, earning qualifications for multiple USA championships and even competing in the 2021 Olympic trials. Among his notable achievements are 6th place finishes at the USA Indoor Championships and a 10th place finish at the USA Outdoor Championships

Coach Sam

Samantha Sheppard, a University of New Mexico alumna, transitioned seamlessly from student-athlete to Assistant Coach, specializing in Distance running. During her time at UNM, she excelled in academics and athletics, earning recognition as a Mountain West Scholar Athlete and a three-year All-Conference Track & Cross Country Champion. Samantha's achievements include qualifying for the Boston Marathon, showcasing her endurance and competitive spirit. Additionally, she holds certifications as an ACE Personal Trainer, specializing in Sports Performance and Functional Training.

Coach Freddie 

Freddie Crittenden III, hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, is a standout athlete and graduate of Syracuse University with a major in Public Health. In his impressive track and field career, Freddie secured a 4th-place finish at the 2023 World Outdoor Championships, proudly representing Team USA. He's also the 2023 USA Indoor Champion in the 60m hurdles. Among his collegiate achievements, Freddie boasts 2x NCAA Runner-Up titles, 5x All-American honors (in both 60m hurdles and 110m hurdles), and 4x ACC Champion titles (in 60m hurdles and 110m hurdles). He holds school records in the 110m hurdles and the 4x100m relay, and he's a 2-time Team USA qualifier. Freddie's remarkable skills have placed him in the top 10 world rankings for the 110m hurdles on three occasions, with a personal best time of 13.00 seconds.

Coach Walsh

Cole Walsh, a Phoenix, Arizona native and graduate of Brophy College Prep and a graduate of the University of Oregon in 2017. Cole was a member of the University of Oregon's track and field team that clinched the NCAA championship team title in 2017. In addition to this achievement, Cole is a decorated athlete with qualifications for prestigious events such as the 2019 World Outdoor Championships, the 2018 NACAC Championships, and the 2014 World Junior Championships. He continues to compete with distinction as a proud member of Team USA.

Coach Feinberg

Noah Feinberg, hailing from Long Island, NY, is an accomplished performance coach with an impressive track record. His expertise extends to training Olympians, professional MMA fighters, and USA Taekwondo athletes, showcasing his commitment to high-level athletic development. Noah holds a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University and earned an MS in Sports Science from Hofstra University. He is certified as a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and has reached Level 2 in RPR (Reflexive Performance Reset), further demonstrating his dedication to advancing athletic performance.

Coach Greyson

Greyson Taylor is an active athlete currently representing GCU (Grand Canyon University). He competes in the 100m and 200m sprints, as well as contributing to the 4x100m relay team.

The Phoenix Track Club Phoenix Track Club’s vision is to help all students become amazing athletes and great human beings. It is our mission to  cultivate a culture of continuous growth and improvement, instilling values of confidence, teamwork, and perseverance in all student athletes as they pursue academic, athletic and personal excellence.

Practice Information 

Date- 08/5 -10/31 ( 13 week program)

Time-5:15pm-6:15pm

Days - M/W/Th. Sat/Sun - group/1on1 sessions

Location- Brophy Sports Complex

Training Week: 2 days Olympic lifting, 1 day body circuit/ running, 1 day of optional conditioning.

What to Bring to Practice 

Athletes should bring the following to practice: 

1. Water bottle 

2. Running and lifting shoes 

3. Small Towel

4. A protein snack or drink

Team Information 

Dress Code 

All athletes must wear weight room appropriate attire during lifting. We will be doing various movements and want to avoid wardrobe malfunctions and clothes that limit range of motion in any way. 

Proper lifting shoes include flat soled shoes. This allows for maximum stability when doing resisted movements.

Fundraising Requirements 

There will be a lift-a-thon where the athletes can participate in. Athletes will be asked to find sponsors to match donations dollars for the total amount of weight they lift during testing week. 100% of the funds raised will go back to the athletes in the form of swag and end of the year celebrations. 

Rules and Guidelines 

We want to create a safe and positive environment for all student athletes in our program. We are asking for everyone to follow these guidelines and if they are unable to, they will no longer be able to participate in the program. 

  1. Listen out for and follow coaches direction while in the weight room

  2. No horseplay while in the weight room 

  3. Respect others 

  4. Give space and stand free of athletes using equipment

Pricing

Base Package - 350/month, 3 Days a week of S&C, Tee shirt, Sticker Achievements, Community Service Event, Team Hike/Games, +1 additional day of running conditioning.

Group Package*- 450/month, 3 Days a week of S&C, Tee shirt, Sticker Achievements, Community Service Event, Team Hike/Games, +1 additional day of small group event specific training. +1 additional day of running conditioning.

1on1 Package - 750/month, 3 Days a week of S&C, Tee shirt, Sticker Achievements, Community Service Event, Team Hike/Games,+1 additional day of private 1on1 event specific training. +1 additional day of running conditioning.

Siblings lift for free and need their own registration.

*All group and private sessions are by appointment only on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Sessions will be 90 minutes and there will be 3 time blocks to choose from. 8am-9:30am, 9am-10:30am,10am-11:30am on both Saturday and Sundays. Coaches will coordinate groups on the first week of practice.
