We are always on the look out for athletes to join our Elite squad. If you are interested then please check out the application process below.
Application Process for the 2024/2025 Season
If you think you have what it takes to join the team as we enter a new Olympic cycle then we would love to hear from you. To ensure the highest standards are met, we have introduced a thorough application process. To be considered, an athlete should have achieved or be very close to the USATF outdoor track and field championship qualifying standards. Athletes will also be considered if they are ranked within the top 40 of their event on the World Athletics world rankings. Please see standards below.
*Special considerations may apply*
Three step application process
1 - Apply to join using the form below
This is your chance to tell us how much you want this. We are a tight-knit team and we only want to add members who will bring something to the group. Tell us all about you - the person and the athlete. Also we would like to know why you would like to join, why you think you would be a good fit, where you are coming from and what your goals are.
2 - Meet with Coach Tim O’Neil
The second stage of the application process is a meeting (in person or on the phone) with Coach Tim O’Neil. It is important to ensure that our goals align. This is a chance for you to find out more about our coaching philosophies and our day-to-day training schedule. A good coach-athlete relationship is integral to our success.
2 - Meet with the team
The final stage of the application process is a Zoom meeting with the whole team. Since the team are so closely bonded, it is very important that you are someone will embrace that and be a team player. At Phoenix Track Club we take pride in everything that we do and ensure that we are doing it with smiles on our faces.
